Showcase: Farmer Shop Business Model Cooperative Academic Institute (CAI) in collaboration with TRF joins the International Year of Co-operatives (IYC2012) by organizing the showcase of Farmer Shop business model. The model is develop by the Cooperative academic institute (CAI) supported by the Thailand Reserach Fund (TRF). The model applies thesupply chain management in cooperative business which has the ultimate goal to promote the fairtrade between producer and consumer of processed of agriculturalproducts.

Showcase: Value Business Model (Sukjai Market) Cooperative Academic Institute (CAI) in collaboration with TRF joins the International Year of Co-operatives (IYC2012) by oraganizing the showcase of Sampran Value Business Group (Sukjai Market). The model is developed by research under the research series supervised by the Cooperative academic institute (CAI). The project has the ultimate goal to promote the organic products and food safety among producers and consumers within Sampran community.
The workshop on "The cooperative movement and fairtrade development research series" The coordinator: Assoc.Prof.Juthatip Patrawat arranged the workshop for reviewing 5 project proposals and 1 final report.

This academic conference is part of CAI's mission to participate in the International Year of Co-operatives 2012. Over 400 participants which consist of researchers, scholars, practitioners, co-op leaders and related governmental agencies, come together to share visions on how to make the cooperatives as an alternative choice for Thailand. The highlight of this conference is the awarding ceremony for valued cooperator and value cooperatives of the year 2012. There will also be the showcase of business model from the research projects.
